It’s not every day that you get to be part of a project that blends horses, beautiful landscapes, and high-quality products into one perfect day. But that’s exactly what we experienced during our latest Cavalor Equicare brand shoot on an equestrian property nestled on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. Let me take you behind the scenes of this amazing day, where we captured real moments, genuine love for horses, and of course, our Cavalor products in action.

The models: Real riders, real horses

When it came to selecting models for this shoot, we wanted to showcase the authentic bond between horses and riders. That’s why I scouted our models on Instagram and Facebook—looking for real riders who live the equestrian lifestyle.

We were lucky enough to have three fantastic models, each bringing their own unique energy and connection with their ponies.

• Alyssa and Gus: Alyssa, a true horse lover, brought her pony Gus, who was a total star on set. What made their story even more special is that they had only picked up Gus just a week earlier. At only four years old, Gus is still a youngster, full of energy and curiosity.

• Holly and Mia: Holly and her pony Mia were a dynamic duo who had an undeniable chemistry. Their graceful partnership made capturing product shots with them a breeze.

• Tansy and Herbie: Last but certainly not least, we had Tansy and Herbert, affectionately known as Herbie. This pair brought a touch of humor and charm to the shoot, with Herbie stealing hearts with his inquisitive nature.

The Cavalor team: Running the show

Behind every successful shoot is a great team, and this day was no exception. As the General Manager of Cavalor Equicare, I was there to oversee everything, ensuring that each shot reflected the essence of our brand—quality, performance, and care for horses.

• Tahlia, a Cavalor-sponsored rider and our go-to TikTok content creator, was the creative force behind our social media presence during the shoot. Her eye for content and her connection with the horses helped bring the shoot to life in a way that was both relatable and professional.

• Tenai, our ads genius, kept everything running smoothly on the technical side, making sure that all the shots we captured would look just as incredible online as they did in person. Tenai is the mastermind behind the high-performing ads you see across our digital channels, and her insight into what makes content pop is invaluable.

While the day was all about real moments with the horses, the Cavalor products were there in the background, making sure everything went smoothly. We didn’t set out to create a product showcase—it was more about showing the everyday reality of life with horses. But what we did see was how much the right products can make a difference.
